Summer 2022 | Painting Portfolio

This summer consisted of canvases sprawled out around my studio space, being worked on in sporadic periods throughout the summer months. Although I have been taking painting courses the past few semesters as an undergraduate, this summer was the first that I have taken my own time to continue my painting practices, apart from coursework. The products of this series of work are the results of my own practice and experimentation with subjects, composition, and mindful inspiration. The colors, moods, and subject matter are inspired by my surroundings and the contemplation of the tensions between playfulness and order.
